We’ve shipped a major UI/UX refresh of the Employee Portal dashboard, built with ShadCN components and focused on an enrollment‑first experience.

What’s new

• Enrollment-first dashboard layout

  • The primary call-to-action now guides employees to enroll their devices as the main flow.

  • Overall layout adjusted to highlight enrollment status and next steps.

• New “Your devices” widget

  • Shows a list of the employee’s devices, including:

    • Last seen time

    • Encryption status

  • Includes a well-defined empty state when the user has no devices yet.

• Cleaner metrics area

  • Removed legacy “Device” and “Purchased Devices” metrics to reduce noise and keep the dashboard focused on actionable enrollment information.

Quality & UX

• Fully responsive for common screen sizes.

• Improved accessibility: keyboard navigation, semantic markup, labels, and contrast.

• Implemented loading and error states for dashboard widgets and data fetches to avoid blank or confusing screens.

This update makes it much easier for employees to understand their device status at a glance and complete enrollment quickly, while giving clearer visibility into encryption across their devices.
