The Swif web application installer pages have been enhanced to support Linux device enrollment via package manager. This update introduces a streamlined, user-friendly flow for enrolling Linux devices using popular package managers, improving the onboarding experience for Linux users.
Linux Enrollment via Package Manager:
Users can now enroll Linux devices using package managers directly from the installer page. Supported package manager types include DEB (x86 only), RPM (x86 & ARM), and ARCH (x86 only).
Clear UI/UX for Linux Enrollment:
The installer page now displays a dedicated “Package Manager” option under Linux, with selectable package manager types. The UI/UX matches the latest design references for consistency and ease of use.
Automatic Team ID Insertion:
Enrollment commands shown to users now automatically include the correct Team ID, eliminating the need for manual entry and reducing user error.
Copy-to-Clipboard Functionality:
Users can easily copy the enrollment command to their clipboard with a single click, with confirmation feedback provided.
