We are excited to introduce Swif Mobile Security for Android, a natively written management agent designed to bring enterprise-grade security and real-time compliance visibility to your Android fleet. This release establishes the foundation for robust mobile device management (MDM) and seamless integration with the Swif administrative console.

New Features

• Native Android Management Agent
  Built using the Flutter framework, the new agent provides a high-performance, consistent experience across various Android devices and versions. It serves as a dedicated security layer, enforcing critical policies directly on the mobile device.

• Real-Time Compliance Reporting
  Device compliance status is now fully synchronized with the Swif organization console. By wiring the agent to unique, MDM-enrolled device identifiers, we ensure that the health status viewed by users matches the administrative view in real-time.

  • Compliant: Device meets all security requirements.

  • Not Compliant: Security requirements are not met, prompting immediate intervention.

  • Checking: Real-time validation of security requirements against the latest policies.

• Security Activity Feed
  A dedicated activity screen provides users with a transparent view of device security events. Unlike standard app logs, this feed focuses on critical compliance updates, such as policy changes and security status transitions.

• Flexible Authentication
  Users can securely authenticate using Google Sign-In (integrated via Auth0) for full enterprise access or Continue as Guest to view basic device compliance status without requiring a full login.

Improvements & Technical Enhancements

• MDM Device Identification: Implemented a reliable mechanism to obtain enrolled device identifiers, ensuring accurate data mapping and reporting across the Swif ecosystem.

• Optimized Data Integration: Leveraged GraphQL for efficient data retrieval, reducing latency and ensuring that compliance updates are reflected instantly.

• Intelligent Location Reporting: To prioritize user privacy and battery efficiency, location reporting now only activates when specifically required by the organization's tracking policy.

• Instant Admin Response: Integrated push notifications to enable faster execution of remote administrative commands triggered from the Swif console.

• Stability & Performance: Significant under-the-hood improvements to background service reliability and metadata parsing to ensure the agent runs efficiently without impacting device performance.
