New Lite and Basic subscription plans

Smarter plan limits for Lite & Basic subscriptions

We’ve rolled out precise in‑product limits for our new Lite and Basic plans so you always know what’s included in your subscription, and when it’s time to upgrade.

What’s new for Lite

Lite is designed for a large company that needs core device management, with lightweight caps to keep costs predictable.

Key behaviors now enforced in‑product:

  • Teams

    • Up to 1 Team per organization

    • When you reach the limit, Create New Team is disabled with an upgrade tooltip:
“Please upgrade your plan to Basic to add more teams”

  • People & groups

    • Unlimited employees can be added

    • Up to 1 User Group

    • Hitting the User Group limit shows a guided upgrade prompt:

      • “You have reached the Lite plan limit for user groups (1/1)”

      • Suggests upgrading to Basic (2 groups) or Growth (unlimited)

  • Devices & device groups

    • Up to 1 device per employee

      • If you try to assign a second device to the same user, you’ll see:
“The employee can only assign 1 device in the current plan.”

    • Up to 1 Device Group per organization, with an upgrade dialog when the cap is reached

  • Policies, apps, and commands

    • Up to 3 Policies

    • Can create multiple apps, but can only use (assign) 1 application per device

      • When you assign beyond the limit, you’ll see:
“You have reached the Lite plan limit for applications (1/1)” plus upgrade options

    • 1 Command can be created; additional commands prompt you to upgrade to Basic or Growth

  • Integrations & MDM

  • Advanced feature experience

    • All advanced features (e.g., Self‑Service Portal, Platform SSO policy, Remote Desktop, AI Assistant, GRC, Shadow IT, App Usage, CVE Monitoring, advanced reporting, Store) remain visible but locked on Lite

    • Clicking a locked feature shows a clear error or upgrade prompt instead of hiding it

  • Billing & plan visibility

    • Settings → Plans & Billing now shows Lite Plan with an Active badge

    • The Upgrade your plan view lists supported/unsupported features and pricing:

      • $2.99 / month (monthly)

      • $1.99 / month (yearly)

What’s new for Basic

Basic adds more structure for most teams while still keeping some caps in place so you can grow into Growth when you’re ready.

Key behaviors now enforced in‑product:

  • Teams

    • Up to 2 Teams per organization

    • When you reach the limit, Create New Team is disabled with an upgrade tooltip:
“Please upgrade your plan to Growth to add more teams”

  • People & groups

    • Unlimited employees can be added

    • Up to 2 User Groups

    • When you reach the User Group limit, you’ll see:

      • “You have reached the Basic plan limit for user groups (2/2)”

      • Suggested upgrade path to Growth (unlimited groups)

  • Devices & device groups

    • Unlimited devices per employee
      – you can assign several enrolled devices to the same user

    • Up to 3 Device Groups, with a guided upgrade prompt once the cap is reached

  • Policies, apps, and commands

    • Up to 8 Policies

    • Can create multiple apps, but can only use (assign) up to 3 applications per device

      • When you assign beyond the limit, you’ll see:
“You have reached the Basic plan limit for applications (3/3)” and an option to upgrade to Growth

    • Up to 3 Commands can be created; a clear upgrade modal appears if you attempt to add a fourth

  • Integrations & MDM

  • Navigation & upsell experience

    • As with Lite, advanced features (Self‑Service Portal, Platform SSO policy, Remote Desktop, AI Assistant, GRC, CVE Monitoring, advanced reports, Store, etc.) remain visible but locked

    • Clicking these features shows upgrade CTAs instead of hiding functionality

  • Billing & plan visibility

    • Settings → Plans & Billing now shows Basic Plan with an Active badge

    • The Upgrade your plan view lists caps, advanced features, and pricing:

      • $10 / month (monthly)

      • $7.50 / month (yearly)

Why this matters

  • No surprises: Teams on Lite and Basic now see exactly when they’re approaching or hitting their plan limits.

  • Guided upgrades: Clear, contextual prompts help admins understand what they gain by moving to Lite, Basic, or Growth.

  • Consistent experience: The app experience, billing, and our published pricing matrix are now fully aligned.

You can review and compare all plans from Settings → Plans & Billing.
