Overview

This release introduces a major upgrade to the shipping experience across the Swif WebApp, providing users with greater flexibility and transparency when selecting shipment rates for device logistics. The update covers onboarding, offboarding, relocation, assignment, unassignment, archiving, and device ordering workflows.

Key Features

1. Multiple Shipping Options Displayed

• All available shipping methods (e.g., UPS Ground, 2-Day Air, 3-Day Select) are now shown on all relevant shipping pages.

• Users can select their preferred shipping method, which is then used to place the shipment order via the purchaseLabelsV2 API.

• Shipping options are dynamically retrieved based on the shipping address using the previewShipments API.

2. Support for Multi-Device and Multi-User Shipments

• When assigning, onboarding, or offboarding multiple devices/users, each shipment displays its own set of available shipping rates.

• Users can review and select rates for each shipment individually.

3. Distinct Rates for Retrieval and Delivery

• For device relocation, users are presented with separate rates for retrieval and delivery, and must select both.

4. International Shipping Support

• When shipping to addresses outside the US, international shipping rates are displayed.

• For US addresses, shipping fees are waived as per existing policy.

5. Unified Experience Across Workflows

• The enhanced shipping rate selection is available in the following flows:

  • Relocate

  • Archive

  • Unassign

  • Assign

  • Offboarding

  • Onboarding

  • Ordering new devices from the store

6. Improved Transparency and User Control

• Shipping rates are shown immediately after address entry, ensuring users can make informed decisions before finalizing shipments.

• All rates are dynamically updated based on the selected address.
