Improved

Release Date: September 28, 2025
Feature Area: Device Compliance, Web Application
We’ve released a major update to the Device Compliance experience in the Swif web app, focused on clarity, usability, and enhanced visibility of compliance controls—including the introduction of group controls in device compliance status.
Group Compliance Controls are now clearly displayed in both the Device Details and Compliance Status views.
When a device is subject to group-level compliance policies, these controls appear in a dedicated section, separated from system defaults and custom controls for easy identification.
The previous “Compliances controls” section has been split into two distinct sections:
System Default Compliance Controls
Custom Compliance Controls
This separation helps users quickly distinguish between organization-wide standards and custom policies applied to individual devices.
The “Security Compliances” column has been renamed to “Security Compliance Controls” for clarity.
The “General compliance” table is now split into two tables: System Default and Custom Compliance Controls.
Group Compliance Controls are displayed under a separator, only when relevant.
Tooltips and quick views have been updated to reflect these changes, including improved labeling and sectioning for faster comprehension.
Separator lines and section boundaries have been refined for a cleaner look.
The Compliance Status quick view header and table have been updated to match the new style.
Device images and labels have been adjusted for consistency across views.
Device Details > Overview Tab: Compliance status tooltips and sectioning.
Device Details > Compliance Tab: Updated tables and headers.
Device Inventory: Compliance status chips, tooltips, and quick views.
These improvements make it easier to understand which compliance controls apply to each device, especially in environments with both system-wide and group-specific policies. The new organization and visibility help admins and security teams quickly assess compliance posture and take action where needed.
