Add the Gorilla log + Swif log to Devices, either manual or auto pulled.
Finding that manually running Commands to pull these logs is suboptimal ;
would ask for
1) Add an automated cadence to pull these two logs and make them accessible under each Device new tab called “Agent Logs” or similar.
OR
2) If that’s not tenable, having a manually button “Pull Agent Logs” within the Device context to pull these logs (providing a much better user experience than having to jump out to Commands then back to the Device to view the Commands output when all I want is to have these logs on that Device)

@Darren Jones Will the command logs automatically add to “Agent logs”? How to know if a command’s result should be added to “Agent logs” or not?
Thanks for your feedback!

I am unsure if technically you’d want to intermix the Agent logs with other Commands.
I’d lean towards keeping them separate as there could/would be numerous Command use-cases that’ll remain there.
If a User created & ran a Command (like we’re doing now) those results will be self-contained as they do today.

Darren, but what do you mean agent logs? When do we know a command result should add to agent logs?

Hi Angelo, Sorry- when I say “agent logs” - that is my own wording that I’m using to discuss Gorilla + Swif agent logs locally on our devices.
Per my prior comment, for simplicity - creating a “native” Command that runs (like you have many others for things like policy checks, manifest runs) that … say once an hour, tails the last 100 lines or so would be fine as a starting point.
We, as users, can use a Filter on the Commands to focus on those if we’re trying to investigate a situation.

Side benefit that this should also assist Swif support teams as well.
